Experiment one

Materials: rice paper, ink, wood and white cloth

This artwork represents a dialogue between myself and nature, while also exploring the traditional Chinese painting techniques that I learned during my undergraduate studies. Though I am no longer a painter, I act as a spectator in this process that is filled with surprises and uncertainties.

Applying computer software, the pattern is added to temperature and humidity to produce an abstract pattern.
