This ink installation can be described as an innovative way of exploring ink art, combining traditional ink techniques with modern technology to create a new process of generating ink works. The installation mixes rice paper and ink through a blender, allowing the ink to flow, permeate and fuse freely, presenting a rich variety of colours and forms and expressing the free, infinite and changing nature of ink art. This innovative approach aims to break the rules and frameworks of traditional ink art and inspire a new understanding and experience of ink art. At the same time, this approach also demonstrates the fusion and collision between modern technology and traditional culture, giving ink art a richer connotation and meaning.
The ink installation also presents a number of specific concepts. Firstly, it emphasises the aesthetic value of 'chance' and 'naturalness'. As the rice paper and ink are placed in a transparent container, the artist cannot fully control the flow and formation of the ink, and this 'serendipity' brings unexpected beauty and surprise.
